“The plant-based sweetener, stevia extract, has gradually been favored by consumers and is quietly challenging the traditional sweeteners on the market. The industry giants that made fortunes and gained reputation by selling products containing sugar and carbohydrate in the past now have to review their market strategies, improve their product lines and brand reputation by R&D or directly introducing healthy products. From 2014 to 2020, the average annual growth of new products launched that contain stevia is 16% around the world, in which the beverages increased by 45%.”
